Yesterday my Sister, Dad, Grandma and I went to visit my Grandad Jimmy who turned 85. He stays in a great nursing home on the West side of the city and is so well looked after.
As they had last year the home put up posters and banners to celebrate my Grandad's birthday.
My Dad bought him a new watch and after we had some cake my Grandad opened his presents.
My Grandad has become more frail in the last few years but he still charms the nurses and occasionally cracks jokes like he used to. He enjoyed a wee glass to celebrate his birthday!
