Festival in the Sky!

As our first event for the International Festival Nathan got us a deal for 2 for 1 on the dinner in the sky which was part of the Festival in the Sky. The concept is that you have a light bite (breakfast, lunch or dinner booking are taken) for 30 mins but you are 100ft in the air looking over picturesque Edinburgh!

Our menu. The food was tasty. Think of 4/5 mini starters on a plate- similar to what you might get at the Taste festival . The were good and actually 30 mins is enough time. You also got a glass of fizz.

Before we went up the rain started. As usual in Edinburgh it was practically horizontal. But it turned to drizzle before we went up so it was fine. I liked our lovely see through ponchos!  We looked like such tourists!

We survived!

The two of us, with our lovely ponchos. It was a fun date afternoon and a good experience although I don't know if I would pay full price. It's worth it to say you've done it and they are very good at putting you at ease with health and safety. I think it will do well at the festival.
