Cyprus

Nathan and I are in Cyprus for 10 days with our friend's Benji and Catriona. We were invited by them to stay in Benji's parents beautiful villa along with another couple, Caroline and Chick. The first 4 of us arrived on Sunday the 3rd early evening. That night we went to Aphrodite Hills resort for dinner and then the next morning we went for a wee wonder to the supermarket and also for a look round the local town Pafos.

In Phafos Catriona and I decided to purchase a new sun hat each. The sun is pretty strong here and for the first 3 days there was not a cloud in the sky! Bliss. I could definitely get used to the 30 degree heat!

After looking round Pafos including a quick snoop into the Medieval Castle, Lusignan castle we headed off to buy up most of the supermarket- I wish I had taken a photo of our massive trolley. We returned to the villa for lunch. Greek Salad, pitta bread, cold meats, houmous and tzatziki- yum!

The rest of the day was spent laying in the sunshine reading our books, swimming in the pool and lounging around- exactly as a holiday should be!

That night we cooked very tasty BBQ including grilled fish and meats that were so good with great salad.
