After 2 lazy days by the pool we ventured further a field on the Wednesday with a trip to Petra tou Romiou, the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite (the goddess of love, beauty and fertility) On this visit we just looked down from the main road at the three large white limestone rocks known collectively as the Rocks of Aphrodite.
Nathan and I with the scenic coast line in the background. It was such a beautiful day.

We then drove for an hour up into the hills to Troodos. Nathan pictured from near the top of the mountain with the coast in the distance. It was much cooler up in the mountains (as you'd imagine) with temperatures dipping to 18*C. (We were about 30* on the coast)
We stopped in Troodos for a picnic lunch and I had a wee play at the kids playpark. Troodos is on Mount Olympus which is 1,950metres above sea level- Our ears popped as we went up in the mini van.
