This Weekend!

After a full week of gorgeous weather it has turned nasty! Just in time for the Hearts and Heroes Challenge. Nathan is part of a team of 9 who are walking/ running the Southern Upland way- they will travel 29 miles in total all in aid of charity. Click here to find out more about Hearts and Heroes.

Funds raised for The Hearts and Heroes Challenge will be used for three different charities- Poppy Scotland, Hearts and Balls, The Sportsman's charity. These charities support military veterans and their families in Scotland, who are affected by a number of issues including financial, physical and psychological problems, and to provide pastoral and financial care to rugby’s seriously injured young people.

We are travelling down tonight and they will be setting off at 5:45am tomorrow morning. I am their support team so will be at 11.5 miles with homemade bananna bread, tea (from my dad's trusty 30 year old stove!) and loads of energy drink, plasters, vaseline etc.

Best of luck to all the boys- if you'd like to sponsor them please go to their justgiving site. With these forecasts they are going to need it!! (we are camping both nights!! eek!)
